1. Feeding System

PVC materials (in powder, scrap, or recycled form) are fed into the extruder through a feeding system. Common feeding systems include vacuum feeders or screw feeders.

2. Extrusion System

The core equipment is a screw extruder. Through heating and screw rotation, the PVC material is melted and plasticized. During this process, additives such as plasticizers, stabilizers, and fillers may be added to adjust the properties of the PVC material.

3. Die and Pelletizing System

The molten PVC material exits the extruder through a die, forming strips or sheets. Immediately after, the material passes through the plastic pelletizier, where it is cut into small pellets. The hot-cut method typically cuts the material at high temperatures, producing round or oval-shaped pellets.

4. Cooling System

The cut PVC pellets need to be quickly cooled to ensure their shape and quality stability. The cooling system usually includes air cooling or water cooling equipment.

5. Separation and Screening System

The cooled PVC pellets are usually passed through a vibrating screen or similar equipment for grading, removing defective pellets or impurities to ensure the quality of the final product.

6. Packaging System

Qualified pellets are then conveyed to the packaging system, where they are weighed, bagged, and sealed before being stored or shipped to the market.
